Tu vows to increase volunteer programs

The China Post - Minister Tu Cheng-sheng of the Ministry of Education (MOE) vowed on Friday to increase Taiwan international cooperation while he welcomed back 27 groups of university students who joined volunteer programs in Asia and Africa in August. Next year, Tu promised to allocate NT$9 million for international volunteer programs, up from NT$4.6 million this year. Full Story
